The MAAA provides its members various supplemental accordion news related information by way of MAAA newsletters and MAAA member announcements. This supplemental communication complements accordion topics, news, and discussions held at the monthly MAAA meetings, and further promotes enthusiasm for the instrument, playing/listening skills, appreciating accordion diversity, and increasing knowledge of the accordion and its music. Sample MAAA Newsletter. Please consider contacting the MAAA with additional New England accordion news and local accordion events to share with the community.
Broader accordion news can be obtained from the Accordion USA website. Please note, that data is for reference only, and does not imply any MAAA endorsement, bias or preference. Accuracy for all data and transactions reside with the applicable provider or publication listed.

Mid 2009, the MAAA hosted the New Hampshire Accordion Association in an inter-club accordion camaraderie social.
The social was a free public event held at the First Congregational Church, Natick MA.
Accordion players had an opportunity to perform in various open mic sessions, ensembles, engage in
discussion topics, and mingle with other avid enthusiasts in a friendly, relaxed afternoon of accordion music. Light refreshments were provided.

The individual clubs also shared ensemble experiences - Donna Maria Regis conducting the NHAA ensemble, and the MAAA ensemble performing under direction of Donna La Rue. The clubs then joined together in a closing finale performing pre-arranged Waltz and Patriotic Medleys to an audience who hailed the event a huge success!
