The MAAA meets the 4th week of every month (unless otherwise noted below).
All instrument types, playing styles, and skill levels are welcomed.
Our meetings offer MAAA members and guests the opportunities to perform
on a sign up basis. Our open forum accordion discussions are chaired to
encourage audience participation, involvement and resource sharing.
Players, listeners and their families/friends are cordially welcomed.
The MAAA also schedules special concert meetings which show case professional Guest Artist performances. These special concert meetings also offer the audience interactive questions/answer sessions with the featured artist. Unless noted, all such concert meetings are free and open to the general public.
The MAAA thanks the Ciociaro Social Club for graciously hosting the MAAA meetings at their facility located in Newton, MA. Ciociaro leases the former Nonantum Branch of the Newton Public Library. The facility is well-kept and the right size for the MAAA and its purpose. Building access is easy, Some off-street parking is available and on-street parking is plentiful. The Ciociaro building is located at the intersection of Bridge and Watertown Streets in Newton, about one mile from Exit 17 off the Mass Pike. Exit 17 is approximately 10 miles east of the Natick exit.
